The New Year begins as the last one ended for Monza, with a defeat. The loss against Cagliari was the fifth league defeat in a row. Now the team is seven points away from the saving shore. Salvatore Bocchetti took over the struggling club Monza shortly before Christmas. Three defeats against Udinese, Lecce and Juventus were followed by defeats against Parma and Cagliari under his leadership. Two bitter defeats against teams that are also in the bottom group. Monza are currently playing their third consecutive Serie A season. In total, we have seen five games between the teams in the top flight since then.
